The Ideal Person

  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript /TypeScript

  • 3+ years of experience with React.js and Node.js

  • Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and patterns

  • Experience in writing API and Unit tests (Jest, Mocha, Jasmine)

  • Solid knowledge and understanding in working with relational databases (for example, PostgreSQL, MySQL etc.)

  • Strong intermediate level of English (this position requires everyday spoken communication with English-speaking team members and customer)

It would be nice if you have:

  • Experience in optimisation of SQL queries

  • Experience in setting up CI/CD (Jenkins, CircleCI)

  • Experience in working with multi-tenant systems

  • Experience with AWS

  • A solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and solutions 

  • Strong knowledge and experience with Mobile First Development / Responsive Web Development 

  • Appreciation for UX, customer journey, conversion optimisation usability design and web standards

On any given day, you might

  • Develop and test reusable code using available frameworks and libraries

  • Hand-code applications

  • Follow and create technical specifications. 

  • Integrate code with other technologies such as REST Web Services, CMS / Commerce systems, 3rd party APIs, etc.

You bring

  • Advanced knowledge of JavaScript /TypeScript

  • 3+ years commercial experience React.js and Node.js

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

  • Strong intermediate level of English (this position requires everyday spoken communication with English-speaking team members and customer)
