The Ideal Person

• Deep knowledge of React

• Solid Redux or similar Flux-like state-management tools experience

• Strong expertise with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, SCSS, Bootstrap 4, Webpack

• Extensive knowledge of working with RESTful and 3rd party APIs 

• Is fluent in source control, such as Git or other source code management tools

• Has the ability to write clean and maintainable code

• Knows the latest trends and technologies, and is passionate about creating immersive experiences

Desirable Skills

• Working knowledge of GraphQL would be advantageous

• Has a solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and solutions 

• Strong knowledge and experience with Mobile First Development / Responsive Web Development 

• Appreciation for UX, customer journey, conversion optimisation usability design and web standards

On any given day, you might

• Develop and test reusable code using available frameworks and libraries

• Hand-code React web applications

• Use Webpack to automate build processes 

• Follow and create technical specifications. 

• Integrate code with other technologies such as REST Web Services, CMS / Commerce systems, 3rd party APIs, etc.

You bring

• 3+ years commercial experience in React Development

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

• Strong intermediate level of English (this position requires everyday spoken communication with English-speaking team members and customer)
