The Ideal Person

• 3+ years commercial experience in React Native Development

• Extensive knowledge of working with native modules

• An understanding of React Native best practices and a commitment to following them

• Experience with RESTful and 3rd party APIs 

• Is fluent in source control, such as Git or other source code management tools

• Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of React Native applications.

• Can translate UI designs and UX wire-frames into high-quality code

• Knows the latest trends and technologies, and is passionate about creating immersive experiences

Desirable Skills

• Experience working with Swift, Objective C, and Java is a plus but not required.

• Working knowledge of Firebase would be advantageous

• Experience in testing with tools like Jest, Detox, Cypress etc

• Ability to write tests for automation so that the app can be tested easily.

• Appreciation for UX, customer journey, conversion optimisation usability design

On any given day, you might

• Architect, build and maintain excellent React Native applications with clean code

• Implement clean, modern, smooth animations and transitions that provide an excellent user experience

• Integrate code with other technologies such as REST Web Services, CMS / Commerce systems, 3rd party APIs, etc

• Release applications to the Apple and Google Play stores

You bring

• 3+ years commercial experience in React Native Development

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field

• Strong intermediate level of English (this position requires everyday spoken communication with English-speaking team members and customer)
